Buck 501

Are the Buck 501 knives a quality piece? I found one in a box of momento's at my moms house. Seems like a pretty solid knife

I only have had my 501 for short time but it locks up VERY tight and certainly feels like a quality product. It is also a great edc size. Not too large but large enough to fill the hand do some real work.

The first knife I got for myself was a Squire. That was @1980 or so. Mine still is a fine knife, clean and sharp.
