  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Buck 501A, what does the A mean?

Its not an A.....

Its an upward pointing arrow

1988 year code

probably....

Cool Grab!!

Say Popcorn,,, have you ever used one of those crock sticks that you got in that auction? Which is cool btw..

Those little small ones are more likely to do you damage than the taller ones with longer sticks, tho.

Son in law took and screwed his base to a long 1x4 in order to get his hand way back from the sticks.

Good thang too.... several cuts in that longer board where the blade glanced off the top of the stick and hit where his hand would have been. I guess he didn't like the scar on the back of my hand from my first one. Only took 8 stitches. When asked,,,well,,,it was obviously a knife fight....lol

Thanks, you can't tell from the picture exactly what the mark was. I have the stamping chart, but I didn't know if that applied to all Bucks or just the 110 and 112. For the sake of simplicity, I guess that is a good description. I bought a 112 that said it was marked C, but was actually the box with the opening on the right. Why don't these guys that sell knives just tell what the year is?
