Buck 503 vs 55

I'm thinking about getting a mid-size Buck, and have narrowed my choices to the 503 Prince or the new model 55. They both are great values. I was hoping that I could get some opinons from those out there who prefer one or the other of these to help make up my mind (or even a comparison from someone who has both). What are the pros and cons in choosing between these two? Thanks.

They are basically the same knife with your choice being a drop point or a clip blade. Ask yourself which blade type best suits your needs. Better yet, they are priced reasonably so get one of each and carry them based upon what you need that day!!

Thanks Larry, do they both have one piece liners and bolsters? I have always liked my Buck Cadet because of this feature (it seems to me this would make a stronger handle).

I have both. The nickel bolsters on the Prince are a lot easier to keep clean and shiny but the clip blade on the 55 looks much cooler.
