The 507 is the Buck Ultima I. It has the same size as the 505 Knight, but it has a MOP handle. But you can find the 505 with a 507 blade or other blades with the same size, for example 506, 525, 526 or other.

Would you show us a picture?

I've got several Bucks with blades with numbers that don't match. I've seen 110's with 560 blades (I have one) and vice versa. I have a few other examples of mixed up blades, but all are real Bucks. It's just usually a case of them using up extra blades that fit other frames.

Meako,Thats the first time I've seen one of those.A 1988, 507 blade on a 505 handle. But its probably not out of the ordinary for Buck. DM

DM, the blade is from 1994. The production of the 507 was discontiued in 1997.

For any 507 collectors, there were three vrsions of the 507 as I recall; white pearl, gold pearl and a much smaller number of black pearl.

Haebbie,
Is it possible for a 506 White Knight/Lady Buck to be Ultima 1. When I was
trolling the bay looking to pick up a 506 white micarta, I saw a 506 with an Ultima 1 metal container to put it in. Was this correct or some sort of bastardization of part laying around?

Fritz,I'm not Haebbie. But thats from parts laying around and someone filled them.
Those boxes for the 507 are hard to find.Did you try to get it?He'll be along.DM

Fritz,
I never saw the metal container for the 507. I bought the Ultima with a gray
flip case. Is it possible to show us the auction that shows the picture of the tin container?

I woudn't be surprised to find a 506 white knight with a 507 blade.

Thanks,
Haebbie
