Mr. Bubinga,
In my house this is the most used Buck knife year ago I found it in a conficated weapons drawer where I was working. Some crook had broken the blade. I re-shaped it and drilled a hole for the keyring to my tack shed. For over 10 years it has cut baling string on alfalfa for my horses.
I don't know how Buck keeps in business the knife market is so saturated with junk. And people line up to buy it. If you look at their classic products like the 526, 500, 110, Special, Pathfinder, Vanguard, Skinner, and others. How can they produce such quality items and still make money? Just the materials in the 110 must cost a bunch, not to mention the fit and finish, all this for less than $50.00? Let us just keep wishing that Buck can continue making what they currently are able to make. A good knife for the money.
