Hi all, looking to buy my first 532 and wonder how it is for pocket cary. I really like the Copper and Clad Indigo option. I've seen the photo showing it about the size of the 112 and a little bigger than 501 but lighter and slimmer than the 112. I wanted to buy a 501 for pocket cary but this 532 caught my eye. I usually carry a 503 in my jeans and was wanting something just a little bigger and wonder how much more bulk will it be. Any photos would be appreciate to. Thanks.

I carried one for a long while. its lays sideways which isnt a big deal if that dont bother ya. I stopped as I went back to a pocket clip knife and my 110 sheath on belt. still a great knife. very useable. I prefer it to the 112 just for the thinness of it. the 500 I find a better pocket carry personally. better than the 112 and 532 for pocket carry, imho.

It's the right size to carry for sure but my preference would be a 501. The handle to blade ratio of a 532 was always off to me. IMO a 501 is spot on.

I like it. Mine was used and didn't come with a sheath. You know it's there but I don't mind. It's a delight to use. Nice tight knife and mine saw some serious use before it was cleaned up and sold to me. It's the only production knife I know of designed by Sawby and the design shows it. It feels like quality and is easy to use.

This doesn't directly address the "pocket carry" issue, but... I carry my 532 in a 112 polyester sheath. The combination of knife and sheath are so thin and light that I hardly notice it on my belt. The polyester sheath is available directly from Buck and isn't that expensive. (In fact, the 110 and 112 sheaths are quite handy for other knives, too. I sometimes carry a Case tribal lock in a 112 sheath. And, for the 110 and 112, no more "green gunk" if you switch to polyester.)

I carried mine yesterday. It is a little long for the pocket, but it works. The slimness makes it better, it's no 110. The little bit of extra length helps make it such a useful knife.

Thanks. I did buy the 532. It is a little big for EDC for me but for limited cary during the day it is not bad. It is long, for sure. But man is it a sweet knife. I love the size and shape for versatility.
