I just wanted to share a positive experience with a great little folder. About three months ago I had the opportunity to pick up a 532 with rosewood scales, nickel bolsters and BG-42 steel. Not only is this a great looking knife, It's very functional as well. This little knife can easily be carried in your pocket or in the leather sheath it comes with. Either way it's a great knife to carry. The blade is configured in such a manner that I find it easy to sharpen, and it can handle just about anything I've asked it to. This has been one of the most satisfying purchases I've made in a long time. If anyone has the chance to pick one up, go for it! :D :D

Mike,
I agree with your sentiments regarding the 532. The Buck Collectors Club offered this model with desert ironwood inlays and BG-42 steel a couple years ago. People who bought the knife (only 170 were made) loved its looks and performance. The 532 is a strong, yet light weight, mid-body lockback and has a dedicated following. I think the club has less than a dozen of these models remaining. A search of this forum should bring up a picture of the knife.

Getting one of those 532's was the hilight of my joining the Buck Collectors Club.

Me too, the 532 from the club was my EDC for a long time. I then changed to the 172 Mayo/Buck but plan on changing back as soon as I can find the 532. It sure does fit nice in the pocket.
