So a short time ago I asked if anyone had info or had purchased this knife. I guess no one had. I looked around the net for reviews and again nada. I was drawn to this knife after watching a couple shot show vids. I was looking for a smallish fixed blade for hunting. I have a 192 and love it. Although I hunt deer Im primarily a waterfowler so not much need for the 192 there. After finding one for a decent price I ordered it.

First impression: wow, great looking knife. Fit and finish is spot on. Feels lite and nimble in the hand.

I think this knife is going to work great breasting out ducks and geese. When looking at the pics I thought the hole in the blade was just for looks. That may be the reason the designer put it there but after handeling it I found it usefull when choking up on the blade. It gives a place for your thumb to get a good purchase.

Bos treated S30V, usefull grind and blade shape. Im already loving this knife. Im gonna have to give it some attention on the Sharp Maker. It didnt come near as sharp as other Bucks Ive bought.

For me the jury is still out on the sheath. It is high quality black leather and looks great. The operation will take some getting used to. I am a little concerned the way the knife goes in and out it may dull the edge... maybe not but something I'll keep an eye on.

The knife looks so great Its almost a shame that soon it will be bloody and greasy with a nick here and there but I bought it to be a user and will.

I really like the look of this knife. S30V and made in the USA add to my interest level. I was hoping to hold one before buying, but I may not wait.

I recently purchased the same knife almost 2 weeks ago. It's a great size for duck, pheasant, and grouse. I think I'm taking it on my next fishing trip to gut/clean fish too. Like yours mine did not come as sharp as I expected from the factory, but it sharpened quickly with a few minutes on a stone. It balances very well in my hand, the handle is really well designed. I'm happy with it so far. Just not too fond of the hole which is part of the blade, but I'll get use to it.
