Hey gang, a bit ago I posted that I was looking for a one handed opening Buck for fishing and general use. I got some really great replies. I was about to pull the trigger on a Vantage, when I noticed that the 546 was close to my 40 dollar budget online. So I ended up ordering the 546. I am really glad I did! The open season line always looked kinda "skeletal" to me when I saw pics online. When the 546 arrived though, it turned out to be a robust and gorgeous knife. The knife arrived with no blade play, the liner lock snapped tight as a drum and the ergonomics of the knife are fantastic. This is my new favorite Buck folder. If anyone is on the fence about the 546, rest assured that it is a very nice knife that I can see fitting a wide variety of uses (Including skinning of course). Just wanted to share my impressions!
