I got mine because it would be my first Idaho Buck, more than anything. I used it as my EDC for a few days and mine worked great. For me, it's mostly the simple things - opening letters/packages, food prep, a bit of wire stripping, cutting zip ties. I guess it would depend on what you do, but with only a few exceptions, it should work well.
