I've owned a 110 and a 112,, I love both of them, but I like smaller knives...to get something with he same stout feeling as those would be great...Can you tell me something about the 55 maybe an in hand pic as well Thanks all.

This is not my picture, but it is a good one, with the 110, 112 and 55. You can see the family line, brass bolsters and wood grain handles. I have all three and the 55 is more of a gentleman's knife. It is not "stout", it is more in line of a 500 type, very thin and easy in your pocket. Hope this helps.

Riley you should be able to find all three at Walmart for a side by side comparison.
I buy most of my knives online but really hands-on is the best way to decide.
I have 3 110's and was vacillating between getting a new 112 or a 55.
I went to walmart and fondled a 55, its a neat knife but a little smaller than i wanted.
I'm sure i'll buy a 55 sometime but my next Buck will be a 112 FG, then my Custom 110.
Woohoo!
:)

I liked (past tense) my 55 a lot. It was a great little knife for the desk...handy.
After I got it back from my wife, who "borrowed" it...it was here on my desk.
Now I can't seem to find it :(

Might also be worth it to look at a 532, not as stout, and bit different. Plus, you get to try something different in the Buck line.
