Buck 560 upgrade?

I just ordered a 560 from TDE and am very eagerly awaiting its' arrival....:D I know that I've read about this model being transformed into a "Buckbenza", so I'd like some info on how I could go about doing that. Anyone??

Great knife,I got one and it's my EDC,If i lived in the states God Damm mine would be with Buck for that great BG-42 blade.Buck will do the job for $30 don't waste time,Sink a cold one wrap that thing give it to one of the kids and send him or her down to the post office.And before you know it you have a real real cool peice of kit take it easy BLINDREF:D :D :D
 
Get the blade switched, then also get a one-armed bandit from somewhere. I know Smokey Mountain Knifeworks (www.eknifeworks.com) has them, dont know who else.

I am planning on trying to go all the way with mine, and get a clip mounted on it.
 
I'm thinking of doing one as well.
Would like to see one with a thumb stud and a BG 42 blade. Thanks
 
Do a search for buckbenza and you'll find Buzzbait's beauty. I didn't change the blade, but his post did cause me to buy a 560 and put a one arm bandit on it. It works great.

Edited to clarify that BF member Buzzbait is the proud owner of this pics copyright and as well invented the "Buckbenza" monicker - I just copied his pic to this thread as it was asked for - I do own one of this beauties as well - thanks to Buzz´s great idea and beautiful pics.

Great pic, Klaus. Now I REALLY can't wait for my Father's Day gift to get here!! ;)

And to top that off, I'm STILL waiting for my 560 to come in...ordered it online LAST Thursday!!
