Buck 630 Paklite as an EDC?

Does anyone EDC a Buck 630 Paklite? It comes with a plastic/kydex sheath and seems like it has potential to be a lightweight pocket carry or horizontal belt carry knife

If not the 630, anyone carry the 635 Paklite as an EDC?

Not the 630 or 635, but I carried the older cousin 135 as an EDC in a custom Kydex boot-knife sheath for years. Until I got plantar fasciitis and my arches fell and my feet grew a size longer and I couldn't wear those boots anymore but I had to wear old-man New Balance walking shoes with inserts for several years and by the time I could wear boots again my friend who did Kydex work had moved away so I never got a new sheath for my new boots. Sigh.

Sorry for the rambling. Bottom line, yes, it was a great EDC knife, especially if you, or someone you know, can fab up a sheath for exactly what you're looking for.

Nice! Thanks for the feedback on the 135 as it seems similar. I’ve never boot carried but that sounds like a good option.

Also, I completely understand the pain and frustration with plantar fasciitis. I had it twice in the last 10 years. It’s brutal!

You should find a place or person local that can get you a new kydex sheath for the new boots.
