Those remain popular and they were not offered for a long time. Good luck on your quest. DM

I recently saw a slightly different variation of one of those; had a black color, synthetic handle, the blade was clean (no teeth). OH

These are all part of the Campmate, Trailmate, Gamesmate, Fieldmate lineup of knives. I've only got a few and haven't gotten even close to figuring out which is which but 'm working on it. I find these models kind of interesting and I really, really like using my 619 in the kitchen.

To the OP, I'd post in the Want to Buy forum here on Bladeforums and keep checking the big auction site, craigslist, etc. I've gotten my few of the big auction site you just have to keep at it as they seem to be really scarce for a while then you'll see them listed every week for a few months.

The green seem to command more $ when bidding. The black seem to be easier to find. There is a green with a good starting price right now. I also see a brown and a different hue of green in the pond. May be prototype for color appeal. I keep an eye out for a 619, 602 and 620 in the green as you have pictured. I picked up a 639 in a local auction for a good price so now I look for the others.

This is a model I'd like to try someday as well. I'm not big on rubber handles, but this one looks really well done and comfortable. The handle is available on other models, I know, but for some reason I think it looks the best on this blade, plus I like the green. I don't know if the saw and serrations on the spine are all that practice, but I'd sure like to give them a try. Prices on the auction site aren't bad if you are patient, but right now my knife money is going to other Bucks. Maybe someday. Cool to see a thread on this little mentioned knife.

Found one on the bay for 99.00 and one on varage sale for 50.00

Carney, I always thought you were hooked on your SOG Super Bowie?
The swamps and leather washer handle, just didn't mix. I traded it for an "old" Carbon Tigershark. Then I started designing my own, and knifemaker , PMoore, spoiled me. The toughest, most Functional, hard use knives I've ever used. I have several designs, but my "TRex", and " Gzilla " are my favorites. Bottom pic, is my new design Paul's working now( pic with GZILLA), and I am Very Excited about it. Already 5 orders for it.

Six years of use and abuse, I practically got rid of everything, but my PMoore's. Best knives I've ever used.

I have one of these without sawback I would get rid of

Randy, you are new here and probably have not read the rules. You must have a paid membership to sell on the forum plus this is a discussion forum, not the proper place to offer items for sale.

Yes Sir, I have one. I am original owner. Never thought to keep it's box. It's been stored well, the blade shows zero wear, only used it a couple of times. The sheath shows age and blade shows a little oxidation at the hilt from age. Never been cleaned and has always been kept oiled. I had Buck factory sharpen it last year and hasn't seen use. I would consider the blade pristine.
I would consider selling it. Bill

According to the mark (639>) my Fieldmate is vintage 1987 and of course with a green handle. I've had it for so long I don't remember when I bought it. It's in beautiful condition and I remember I bought in K Mart.
I have some pics, but don't know how to insert. I've used the image function, but have issue with it working.

There is a sticky on how to post pics, it's kind of a pain but if you follow the directions it gets easier. You have to get your pics on photo bucket and then follow the directions on the sticky on how to post pics.

If you're looking to sell your knife you can't do it in this forum.

Good luck. Be persistent and I'm sure you'll find one. My mother gave me a 639 fieldmate for Christmas in the late eighties and so of course I wouldn't sell it. I like it.
