Buck 685 BuckLite MAX II

These BuckLite MAX II knives are going to be great low price work horses for Buck. The new rubberized handles look great! I have my eye on both sizes, the 684 with 3.25" blade and the 685 with the 4" Blade.:thumbsup:

I have have a bucklite my large. I’ve had it about 2 yrs. now . I use it all the time summer months outside winter months mostly in the kitchen. It’s lost it’s fine edge. What is best way to get back the razor edge.

I am thinking the a 684 is gonna be a go some time soon.. I do like the looks of this knife!! For those that have these knives.. How does the handle feel?? What I am asking is it real soft/squishy or firm/grippy?? Thanks.. John

Rubbery

Highly reminiscent of the old Remington rubber-handled knives......been around for many years and they used to sell for about $12 at Wal-Mart.

One on e-Bay now selling for .99 cents.

Wonder if the collusion with Remington inspired this?
