You there’s any chance Buck would or could bring back the 700 series?I have a couple one bronco and a colt.I alternate use I have to say they’re about my favorite knives.I had a maverick but lost it at work.

They are great knives for sure. The only one I don't have is the 709 but I need to get one.

Do I think Buck will "bring back" any of the 700 series knives?
It's always possible. However, in my opinion, it is highly unlikely they will.

Look at all in the 300 series that have been dropped over the years. I believe the only (domestic) 300 series in production now is the 301 and 303. Personally, I don't see any of the discontinued 300 series knives making a comeback.
I don't know, but I suspect they were discontinued due to a lack of sales, making it impractical to continue manufacturing them.

It costs money to have inventory sitting long term on the shelves.
When I managed a couple convenience stores, and a liquor store, if an item sold between none to less than whatever inventory was on the shelf (6 to 24 items) or one case per week, it was put on sale until sold out, and was never re-ordered.

Welcome to the Buck forum. Well, you sure would not be lacking for one if they didn't. A quick check of the auction site finds 138 for sale in all sorts of variations.... have at em. There are always plenty for sale there.

I’ve been eye a few on the secondary markets.I believe I read somewhere that the 700’s were disced do to the fact that they are very hard on pockets.

It’d be nice though. A forum knife run in upgraded steel would be sweet.
Yes, it was. :)
2018 Forum knife was Buck 301 with Spey/Budding blade delete, Long pulls on the clip point and sheepsfoot blades, Elk covers, and CPM154 blade steel. :)
