Buck 721

When considering the purchase of a used disposable folding knife you might want to consider your opportunity cost, what you could have bought instead. I can have two new made in USA 110s, 50th anniversary model, with black leather sheaths delivered for under $60. I argue that the two 110s are worth more in user satisfaction than three 721s.

I am needing a folder knife and I am wanting to get an Ontario Rat Folder and a Buck folder.

Today at my local pawn shop I seen a Buck 721 at a good price. It was not quiet $21 but it was more than $19.

Is it a good knife worth daily carry? Is the price right for a used knife with no shown wear?

With a curve belly is it easy to sharpen?

Here is what it looks like.

I don't have one of these, but going to look for one. I like the blade shape and the way your thumb would rest on the top edge. As well as it being a lock back, versus a liner locker or even a frame lock.

I can see it being easy to open one handed. But maybe not easy to close one handed.

The clip would work real for me. And I personally would have no problem sharpening it.
