This one just popped up on the website of the large brick & mortar store in these parts.

Anyone heard of this before?

no. new model or special run for a dealer...but I thought Buck stopped doing that?

lookin online I'm not seeing it.. checked Canadian tire but didn't see it. now thinking it's an import by Buck for a dealer/chain store maybe?

Jeff showed me the link. its 7cr17mov steel so an import for sure..aka Chinese knaf. price is kinda high to me, its more than a 119 at legit online dealers....wait that might have been Canadian dollars i saw....got to go check on that......but I like the design visually.

edit part.....yeah Canadian dollars about same price as 119 converted to us dollars. pretty sure it's Canadian only option for this box store. i hunted ones I know in Florida and Georgia and didn't see it listed.

Also wasn’t 768 the same model number that was on the fake Vanguards a few years ago? I know when I type in Buck 768 the fake vanguards pop up online.

Hence my confusion as well. Wouldn't that be something if a major retailer got duped into purchasing a few skids of fakes. Doubtful, for sure, but it could happen.
