Did these ever come in plain edge? I see a couple on evil bay in pse with the g10 and are screwed together and not riveted. Anyone know if the liner lock is heavier etc. Thanks and keepem sharp

PS did some come with thin liners and some with thick? I have the TACOM model in ats34 and the 420HC model but the liner fails on the 420HC but not the ats34. Both of these models have the thinner liner lock and am looking for the heavier. thanks
 
I think you are getting mixed up between the 882,887, and 889. I beleive that the 889's have thicker liners.
 
I believe the 882 ATS-34 and G-10 does indeed have the thicker liner. I managed to get one in plain edge, but the grinds are really bad. Other trhan that it is perfect. The seller said only 42 were made in plain edge. I don't know if that is true or not. I do wish they would make more ATS-34, G-10, stonewashed, plain edge versions.

I'll second that, and drop the texturing along the spine please. Cleaning gunk out of that must be a pain.:thumbdn:
