I have a Buck 889 OD, it looks like this
Thanks Tadgear for the pic.
The knife in general is not to bad, though the linear lock is so bad it is not even safe to use. I sent it back to buck, got a new one with a lock that is just stiffer but is still awful.
Now I could sell it but to be frank I would feel guilty as somebody is bound to chop off there fingers, even the slightest tap will make the liner disengage.
What I want to do is put a rivet right through the handle and into and throgh the liner lock. This will then lock the liner against the handle. So as of now the knife is useless, then i will cut around the liner's outside and by doing so I will cut the handle. This will then make a frame Lock.
Does anybody have any recommendations, It looks possible.
