Just seen this Buck 891 5.5" spear point knife on the Buck website and wondered if anyone has one yet or has any views on the knife? I quite like the shape and materials, should be a tough knife.

That's good to know, I will place it on the top of the list.I have a couple of them in different variations. A great heavy duty knife. Very rugged and well made. I really like them in every way. Buck really hit it out of the park with this model. Comes in 4 variations. Spear point and tanto in black or tan.
pretty sure are...they seem to sell well and always out of stock fairly quickly on various dealer sites since their introduction. Are the GCK models still in production?
I ask because I've seen them listed as discontinued/unavailable on several sites, Amazon included.
There are still some listed as in stock on quite a few sites though.
Remember the problems with the word Tactical online Buck was having? That is why GCK isn't on Bucks website. The whole line shows up in the 2021 Dealer catalog.I received an e-mail from C&C saying the 808 Talon is discontinued......
So it appears the whole line of GCK is gone.
Having just received the 108 Froe, and loving it, I couldn't help but grab a Talon while supplies last.
There's just something sweet about a big piece of 5160!
Heads up, Buck has less than 50 total in stock.
....you know you want one!
they were under survival, but have been pulled off. im still hoping its labor and materials shortages and issues and they aren't killed off yet.Remember the problems with the word Tactical online Buck was having? Maybe Jeff knows if the GCK line is discontinued. I see the Talon on Bucks website.
yep...was thinkin that way too. hope we're right these are good knives for harder use.Google Buck GCK. Every retailer at least 10 deep has them in stock. Only one said delayed by manufactured.
Hope they dont discontinue these so quickly after introducing them.
thanks Tenbeers...good info gathered there.I emailed an online seller that I trust and was told that they weren't discontinued but some models were on backorder.
I guess we'll see.
