The earliest mention of the 905 I can find is in the 1981/1982 Custom Shop catalog. To my knowlege, it's never been a standard catalog item, it's always been either a custom or Limited Edition.

The 905 Mountain Man Bowie was made in the real custom shop, 1981 - 1990. Buck has also made at least one 905 LE and maybe more.

Here is the only 905 I have it's one of the LE versions
