Tried to post in the Buy/Sell forum but couldn't for some reason.

Have a Buck Akonua model 402.

Looking for info on this knife, history, value, etc.

Its in primo brand new condition. Box is a little beat up but have the sheath, knife, and the authenticity certificate.

Any info would be appreciated.

Its the smaller brother to another much loved Buck knife called the Kalinga. Both of these are excellent hunting knives. I have read a lot about them which is all available on the net by typing it in google for either name. At one time I believe they were sold together as a set with the same handle material. Its getting rare these days so I'm sure you have a keeper.

By typing in Buck Kalinga which to my knowledge is the more popular of the two, you can probably find out a lot about both.
