I recently disassembled my Buck Alpha Dorado and when I put it back together it doesn't feel the same. There is a little side to side play when its open and locked. Also the liner sticks sometimes and is a challenged to pry open to close the knife. any help?

The first thing I would do is to take it back apart and then reassemble ensuring that everything is in the right place...

I suppose you could always send it to Buck to fix...Other, more knowledgeable folk here could confirm that..

Any particular reason for taking it apart?

Sounds like you lost a washer. Check that you have a washer on each side of the blade. Or you have the washers reversed. I looked at mine and the thicker washer goes on the side with the liner lock and the larger thinner one goes on the other side.

i have taken it down and assembled it many times in an effort to restore it back to its original awesomeness. I am not missing a washer or have them reversed... I made sure to note the number and position of the washers before i took the bolt out.. I am so perplexed by this =/

You've probably already have done this, but when reassembling, make sure all the screws are tightened equally, except the pivot screw of course.
