Ok, I'm curious to know what some of you think of the Artist Series. I really like the Flying Eagles knife and am thinking about getting one as a display piece. (I love anything with Eagles on it)

Does anyone have one? How good is the finish and picture on the handle? Opinions?

Hi Mike,

Sorry I can't give you any info on the artist series as I have only viewed them in Pics. There are other limited edition knives from Buck that have etched blades with Egales on them. I have a Duke 500 with a gold etch of an Egale. I like the gold etch blades for my collection more than a picture on the handle....but, thats just me. Please see the pic below and note that the scan in no way lets you see how nice this looks due to glare from the scanner. I've also give a link to a current ebay 110 with an Egale gold etch. Let me know what you think of these in comparison to the Artist series.

Are you talking about that one on ebay right now? Good looking piece... I don't have any myself... Just didn't go that direction in my collecting. Might have a couple of gold etched tho come to think of it... Look at 334Dave's pics in his photobuket.

I don't know why, but I've never really liked etched blade knives. I prefer the handles to have the design's on them. No reason other than personal taste.
