I got this knife a couple weeks ago. It is a Buck Catapult BL 288 assisted opening knife. I have to admit I was skeptical at first. But, I must admit this is one great knife. I would not recommend it for someone with large hands though. I have small hands and it is just right, but if my hands were larger it would become a little awkward. The action is quick. However it does take some practice. But once it is mastered it is great. You have to push "North" on the thumbstud. The scales are comfortable. I juist wish it had "Torx" fasteners to alow cleaning and maintenance. The blade steel is of great quality, but takes a little polishing to raise a hair splittin edge. Overall a pretty darn good knife.
