Buck Bantam Question

Can the pocket clip be removed from the Bantam easily? Will doing so only leave screw holes?

With the correct size torx driver, it can be removed leaving only three holes.

Edit: just checked one of my 285's. You'll need a T7 bit.

Once you take the clip off, can you put the screws back so they cover the holes and are flush?

Sorry about the bad phone pic but, no. The screws protrude through the plastic slab and stop the blade from opening.

That would work. There is plenty of length on the screws. You could carefully take a little off and still have enough to secure the clip if you decided to put it back on. Just don't bugger up the threads.
