Buck Big Sky Stag Handle

Can anyone tell me where I can purchase a NEW Buck Big Sky knife with STAG handle?

Real interested in finding one of these new.

To my knowledge, only twenty of the Big Sky stags exist. They were made for award knives at a Chattanooga NKCA show. Paul Lentz may still have a few left (the leftover ones have the engraving for the show buffed off). His number is 704-782-9221. Give him a call, he's a great guy.

Hi Gerry & John, Thanks for bringing this up. These came with out a sheath (at least mine did) and a standard Big Sky sheath will not close around that big fat stag. They are such awesome knives they deserve a sheath. How can I get one?

Yes,
Only about 20 exist and i would wager that 2 of the 3 of you have one. If Paul does not have any more,it will be very hard to locate one of only 20 made. Frank, let me see about a sheath for yours. I kinda remember including a sheath because they were made with slightly longer straps to accomodate the elk handle.

I am having Jane run one down. It may have to be made though since the keeper strap will have to be slightly longer with the stag handle.

I'm getting too excited about the Blade Show to be upset about a little ol' sheath. Would be nice if Chuck's plans changed so he could make it there, we'll miss him.

Hi CJ & Joe, I just received the sheath, and I really like it, was worth the wait. Thanks to all involved, especially the folks in the leather shop, I'm sure with all the emphasis on Buck knives, these people get a little over shadowed, Buck sheaths take a back seat to no other manufacturer.
