We own a hardware store in MA and have been collecting/selling Bucks since we started in 1950. My collection is huge and recently I found a Buck Big Sky with a walnut finish. This knife beautiful and I read that it was discontinued. I would like to find out more about this knife and if it has any value. If anyone knows anything about it please post with information. If you want I can post pictures. Thanks, and keep collecting Buck Knives, they are the best!

Can't answer your question, but where in Mass? When I was a kid, Gleason's in Northampton was my favorite in-town destination.

ColdDay ,welcome to the BUCK forums, nice knife, there are a few on here that will give you the
info you need for the Bigsky.
Hope that you hang around and post more pictures of your BUCK knives.
Do you have any BUCK's that were made in the 50's?

Thanks wolf and eagle. Not sure, I am only 22 but my dad would know if he has any. He has so many that I even lose count. He's been giving me Buck's since I was little so I basically grew up in a hardware store setting. My favorite knives are my Alpha Hunters, Big Sky, Kalinga, and my number one favorite: Bill Cody Alpha Hunter (Folding and fixed.) I will post pictures when I get a chance. Thanks for the help and yeah Big Sky is no longer available and I haven't seen many around so I figured that few would know about them. I have two by the way.

I forgot about my Buckmaster, that is probably one of my favorites too! And we have a True Value in Everett, Ma. I am not familiar with with the Gleason's store but I am sure it was a great store. Talk to you all soon.
