What happened to the Buck Big Skys?
I never see anything regarding these. I bought one of these several years back. I guess I was about the only one. It has been a great knife though the sheath is bulky. It has cut sapplings for blinds and shooting lanes, distached and dressed a deer. I often rides on my hip when I mucking about the woods.

Just curious. Thanks,
tjg

I don't know what happend to them . Someome " I think it was BUZZBAIT " posted a positive revue on the Big SKY and I had every intention of getting one . Then they were gone . I have checked e-bay a few times with little luck so far . I'll keep looking I guess .

I bought one of the two Big Sky's listed above. Just got it. I really like the blade configuration and it is a great looking knife. A couple of questions. Was the sheath design used for any other Buck Knives? It is very rugged and well made, though I am not crazy about the steel belt clip. I prefer a regular belt loop. Also, why no model number stamped on the blade? Mine is only marked Buck USA. Was this a limited run knife, or did poor sales do it in? TIA

BTT, Anybody have any comments?

Slufstuff,

Run a search here in the Buck forum with the term "sky". There are a number of threads about this knife. :)

I really wanted one of those for a while, but like Grateful said, they were out of production before I realized it.
Looked like a really cool, usable pattern to me.
