I'm looking for a book that covers Buck, mostly the history of the 110.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks

There is a book out about Buck.I cant remember the name.I looked at ebay real quick and didnt see one with the knives. The 110 history is well written here on the forums. You could search the Buck forum and probably find enough info to help until you can locate the book. And dont forget about the Buck Collectors Club if you're not already a member. Take care

The title of the book guy is refering to is "THE STORY OF BUCK KNIVES... a family business" written by Tom Ables. There is a entire chapter devoted to The Birth of the Folding Hunter. I know these books are often available on eBay. - Joe Houser also wrote a real nice time-line for the 110 in the February 2002 edition of the Buck Collector's Club Newsletter. If you're a member of the BCCI all the past newsletters are available on the club's website, as are all the older catalogs.

If you're not a member of the BCCI yet, and you have a serious interest in the 110, you might want to take a look at the links in my signature below and consider joining. There is a ton of info available on the website, and every quarter the newsletter just seems to get bigger and better, packed full of info direct from the factory and from the long time collectors. I have learned more about Buck, and knives in general in the last couple years I've been a member then I thought possible. Well worth the dues....

If you want more info, feel free to contact me direct.
