I've been carrying one of those bottle openers that came in the 110 collector's tin for about a month now, and I'm amazed at how scratch resistant it is. It's been rubbing against keys and change, dropped on stones and asphalt, and still doesn't have any scratches on it. I'm curious what these things are made out of. Are they covered in Buck-cote?

That's cool to know Chris! What about the painted logo? Did that stay on too?
Until you posted, I didn't know that was a key chain AND bottle opener. I looked at it and said "darn!, So obvious!!". Then I read the cardboard advert that was under the shrink wrap. Like some that didn't read the print about Alaskan Free Sharpening, I missed this one too :) :)
Thanks,
Goose.

Here's a crappy webcam pic of the bottle opener. The logo is still looking great.
