I just got my new 302 with the brass bolsters and rosewood scales.

I have to say, the fit and finish are excellent. It is better than many knives costing many times as much. The walk and talk is superb. The only issue with the knife, and it is a small one, is that the scale on the pile side is lighter than the one on the mark side.

It is still really good looking.

The back square is perfect. I had a photo but it disappeared when I uploaded it from my phone. When the back of the blade meets the end of the spring, the fit is so close you can barely see a line at all. Very nice job, Buck.

This knife is very slim. I love the 302. I used it a bit to cut a mango, open a bag of Snyder's pretzels, cut an apple, open a letter, and open a box. It did all of these very well, as might be expected. It would do nicely for small game. The knife came from the factory old time Buck sharp. I mean, someone did a great job on this knife. The polishing and buffing did not leave any irregularities that I can see on the knife, whether handle or blade. The brass came a bit tarnished (it does that), but one swipe with some Brasso on a cloth and it was all gone in two shakes of a lamb's tail.

This knife is almost too pretty to carry.

This is the perfect pocket knife. It is good looking enough for a suit, and slim enough, too. Yet, it works with jeans, too. (I do not care, but some do).

Great job, Buck.

I have the same one. It's by only 300 series with brass bolsters. Just a minute ago I added a 309 in the same clothes to my cart...just have to pull the proverbial trigger.

Great knives. Post some pics of the 309 and 302.
