I realize this should be in the buck subforum but it seems only one person there has had any experience with these. So I was just wondering if I could get an unbiased review on fit and finish as its way more than I've EVER spent on a knife. I know I know perish the thought. Anyway, even if I don't get answers thanks for at least reading my very first thread post.

Welcome to the forums Frankfurter.

Sorry, I don't have one either. The only problem I can see with the knife is the liner lock. It's a heavily debated issue, some are good, some not. Sometimes whether or not you get a good one varys from manufacturer to manufacturer, sometimes from knife to knife.
Personally, I'm going to get one eventually. That design does so many things right I can't resist it. Just be aware that a liner lock should be paid a little more attention than your regular lock-back or framelock (and this applies to all of them, whether the knife was $400 or $50).
On the plus side, the knife uses great steel and Buck does a good heat treat, so at least you know the blade is top notch.

Don't worry about the price, I started out thinking $100 was a lot... I bought three $200 knives this year alone (just make sure to budget things clearly, going into debt is not funny).

Hey thanks guys I think I will probably EVENTUALLY get one by saving pennies and I'll let you all know what I think of the knife.

Very solid form/fit/finish on these. The shop I was working at had a few. They were a hard sell to a lot of folks because of their unusual nature, but if you're looking for a folding prybar that still cuts like a charm and is totally bombproof then it's hard to go wrong. I just wish that it wasn't a liner lock.

Thanks ...Blades I appreciate that. I also despite liking liner locks wish they had chosen a stronger lock system considering what its intended for. I am always looking for a "bomb proof" folder. Keep the responses coming only making want to save faster. Haven't been this psyched about a buck in a while.
