Gotta admit, I've always been a little baffled by Buck catalog numbers. The model numbers are a start, it's easy to tell the difference between a 110, a 503, or a 119. On the newer knives you add an alphabet soup of suffixes that are usually fairly descriptive as long as you don't go cross-eyed.
0110-BRSBCCI-B,, I'm looking at you...
Well, anyway. If you have the original box usually you'll find a four-digit catalog number. The best way I've found to deal with these is to skim the Dealer Price Lists. Is there a consolodated reference somewhere that lists catalog numbers versus model numbers?
