This is a nice BUCK section here..on Bladeforums..

what would be better in the Buck collector club?

Do they have their own buck knives ckassified for sale or trade section?

what else?? makes it different from this forum

There are two locations for the Buck Collectors Club, the Website and Facebook. Access to the Website requires BCCI membership. It's greatest resource for me are the catalogs going back to the 1940's. Also there are copies of Newsletters going back to 1988, and some limited model history information. There is a forum function and for sale section but neither seemed to be very active last I looked.

Now about Facebook, can't help you much there, you do not have to be a BCCI member for that but you do have to register on the site for access. I wish the posts there were open to public viewing as I don't do Facebook. I did sign in there a long time ago with my wife's Facebook for a peek but don't recall anything catching my attention and logged her out. Look forward to hearing what others have to say about the Facebook site. /Roger

The website really IS a fantastic resource if you're serious about collecting and knowing about Buck knives. The catalogs alone are worth it to me (in spite of some of them not being the highest quality scans). The FB BCCI page did recently show the Moroccan Agate custom 110s that ere done for the club. Sold out pretty quickly too. (I only recently joined FB because they have very active Chris Reeve, Shirogorov, and Idaho Hiking groups ;-). )

I just recently joined BCCI. I agree with the comments above about the value of the website in terms of back catalogues, newsletters, etc. In that respect, it's a great resource. Unfortunately, the member discussion forum is absolutely dead, which was a real surprise to me. It sounds like any discussion activity is limited to the BCCI Facebook site. That's a shame, because I, too, am someone that does not do Facebook. Ah, well -- this is the place to be anyway! 👍

All that being said, I seem to have joined BCCI just in time to get in on the Moroccan Agate 110's. Mine arrived today, and I am blown away... 😲

I agree with what others have said... I'll add that the forum section on the BCCI website is likely dead because this forum has taken over as the "de facto" forum... there's a lot of BCCI members posting here.

I checked out the BCCI facebook page and didn't like it... this place has a better feel to it, more camaraderie and welcoming.

most of the members dont spend time on the bcci website forum, which is a shame. they prefer Facebook. I dont have Facebook and dont want to, so I spend my time here.
Same here, wife is all over Facebook but I am not a fan. Grew up with social media, did it for a little bit. Realized it wasn’t for me.
