Buck collector club knives

Hello all,

a question about collector club knives. I just bought a MP Vanguard collector club knife for what I'd pay for an off the shelf knife. It's marked 235/163 in edition. Did Buck oversell some knives or i this a sample or something like that.

The 1st number indicates the persons member number who owned the knife. Member #235.
The 2nd number indicates the number of the knives made.
Are you sure the 2nd number isn't 160? My vanguard's 2nd number is 160.
 
Ah, member number. It never crossed my mind. Yes, I'm wrong. I was looking at the pic but read it wrong. It is 160.

Do they have many knives like this nowadays in the bcc?
 
They have a yearly club knife that is numbered such as yours. A couple times a year they also have other Buck knives that you cannot get anywhere else.
You should look into becoming a BCCI member.
