Bucktown Sheriff and 700 collector Russ Donoghue, and now author of new BCCI book, suffered a apparent stroke yesterday morning. Wife was able to get him to hospital quickly and doctors worked at being clot busters. Feelings in his hand, arm and face returning. He did get a gash on his head when he did the uncontrolled fall down but it should not hurt his good looks. FYI news from the BUCK/BCCI world.

300, Thank you for this note about one of our fine collectors. Our prayers are extended to him and his family. May Russ make a full recovery. DM

Hey Russ....hoping you have a quick recovery. Thankfully your wife was there to get care for you quickly.

It sure was fun talking to you so much at the 25th BCCI Anniversary event a few weeks ago. I think I talked to you more than I did anyone else!! :)

Prayers for the Sheriff from the cornfields of Illinois.

Prayers sent for a quick and complete recovery. Just listen to the Dr.'s and the wife. We'll keep the door open when you return.

Very nice person. He went out of his way to talk to everyone, including me. Very sorry to hear about his mishap, my prayers are with Russ and his family.

Russ and Plumber are our official bounce back boys. Plumb going to Bass Pro this weekend and Russ is walking, talking, drinking coffee, laughing and likely winking at nurses. Thanks to all both here and in private for your prayers and best wishes. Way to go Buck team......

I think Rusty is on his way back to health from the sounds of the e-mail that he sent out.
