It is now history, the 2002 Blade Show. The displays done by the Buck Collectors Club were the best to be seen at the show. This group of knife collectors pulled together to keep raising the standard of displays at this show and proudly show the great products done by Buck Knives. This year both Chuck and CJ Buck attended and added to the fine knives on display. First time displayer, David Yellowhorse, a lifetime BCC member, showed a couple of his best pieces yet. This master still has much expression to offer for collectors.

To all the Buck Collector Club member, thanks for a great time and fellowship. :D This was one of the best efforts produced by Buck and the club yet.... what can be waiting in the future.... besides the 15 Anniversary Celebration for the club at the plant in July 2003.

If not a member, you are cordigally invited to join and enjoy the benefits of the club and meet the fellow members. There is alot of expertise waiting to assist you in collecting Buck Knives. Send a note to Joe Houser and he will get an application to you or contact one of the members for assistance.

Thanks again to all for the great show..... looking forward to raising the level again next year..

Yours in colleting Gene Merritt

Gene,
Thanks for the excellant recap of the show. You failed to mention that YOU won a Judges award for your awesome display of Yellowhorse knives. You are so modest! ;)
As always, my biggest complaint is that three days is not enough!

This was a great Buck Show, I mean Blade Show for our club. Many outstanding displays and they get better each year! Our displays made me proud to be a member of the BCCI. Joe, you forgot to mention that Gene took Best of Show from the BCCI. What an awesome display you have Gene. I certainly look forward to next year.
