Buck Creek and German Eye.

Is there really any difference in these knives. Many around here have gone over to Buck Creek b/c of the rising prices of German Eye.

They have told me they are getting the same performance for 10 or 20 bucks less per knife.

Are they in fact using the same type of steel?
