Hello.... I'm thinking of purchasing a Buck Creek folding pocket knife (probably a 4 blader). Is this a decent quality pocket knife? Just curious if anyone here has owned one or know much about them. Thanks

I have a Buck Creek Copperhead and I like it for a user. It is the only celluloid handled knife I have. I have been looking at a 4 blade congress at a local store. My copperhead is 9y/o and there seems to be minimal handle shrinkage and still has good walk and talk. I'd say it is definately a good user.

Hey, Welcome to the forum,enjoy!!!

they're good knives, I owned a few when they were new (to the business). fairly well made the ones I had were nade in Germany, I havent seen any for a while, so Im assuming they probably still are. I rememer I think I paid about $15.00 dollars for the ones I had (each).

I went looking in my drawer the other day for my Buck Creek copperhead and found it laying next to some nonstainless metal and where it was touching the handles it stained the metal. Also tarnished some brass rounds I had in the drawer. Man that celluloid is some bad stuff. The funny thing is the carbon blades on the knife were not affected. I like the knife but I just can't get use to that celluloid.:(
