Well, my much-awaited Buck arrived last Friday.
I am amazed with how well made it is. Fantastic piece of work. Not only pretty, but sharp, very sharp. I'm happy as a clam.
What did I get, you ask?
Buck 110
Elk horn handles
420hc satin blade
Fingergrooves (well worth it, these are great)
rivets (yes I got the rivets and no apology offered!)
brass bolsters (old skool, I know, but awesome with the elk handles)
Got my name engraved on the blade also.

Ahh.....

Sounds great Shadow!
How long did it take to get?
As for the pins, I like that in the stag as well...adds to the "old school" look, as my kids call the Buck 110. And there's nothing wrong with old school.

It took 7 weeks to get here, from order to delivery.
I will get you all some pictures tonight and upload them if I can with my registered user status.

rivets (yes I got the rivets and no apology offered!)

Shadow,
Although some of us prefer not to have the rivets, you are the only one you have to please! ;) That's what's so great about the custom shop. You get to have it your way! Sort of like McDonalds!

Well put Mike!!!!
I prefer no rivets also but, I wouldn't turn down one with rivets :D
Looking forward to some pics! Thanks

I agree with both of you guys on this. Shadow that sounds like a wonderful and beautiful knife. Whether I prefer rivets or not will never take away from the quality and beauty that comes with every Buck knife...Especially a "Custom" ordered to someone's personal likes...rivets or no rivets...that knife would be makin' my day if I were lucky enough to own a beauty of a knife like it is I'm sure...

What interests me is the sheath color. Never seen it before.

Goose, I don't know for sure if this is one, but, the custom shop use to use "natural" colored leather for some of the earlier customs. This might fall into that time frame...seemed like a very good price. Preston

 Always amazes me the knowledge found here. Certainly more than one could find in any one book.
Thank youi Buck 110 for the detail :) Too cool for school.
