Buck Custom home run

Howdy folks,

I was lucky enough to be one of the lottery winners for the recent 112 Elk LE knife. I'd had a string of bad luck with custom knives but I have to say Buck knocked it out of the park with this one. The hollow drop point HG blade is awesome and the elk is fabulous too. Couldn't be happier. Prior to getting this I was going to order a NS flat grind DP to redo myself but the hollow grind is too nice. Enjoy

 
Lottery is a good term to use for Web special knives..I think you just about have to be looking at your email when Buck sends out the notice they are available. The only Bucks that sell out quicker is the Buck of the month! Only 22 of that 112 were made but at least 1 just like it was sold at the factory sale in November. The blade grind looks fantastic but I can't say how well it performs as the few models Bucks with that style of blade (Boone and Crockett burl 112 for example) go right into my collection. The Elk on your example is very good quality as on every one I've seen. If you want to get another one simular to it but with file work and a mirror polished blade they show up on the bay once in a while . You have good taste Sir!
