Buck custom shop--110

I was considering a custom 110 from Buck--just such a classic knife, and I love the idea of choosing great materials for it. Can those of you with experience with buying such a knife comment on the overall quality of their finished product. How does it compare in terms of f&f with other production and semi-custom knifes. I would go with the s30v blade too--how's their heat treatment of the steel? Comparable to a spydie's para 2? Thanks...

Not sure if the Bos heat-treat would go into it, but if so it'd be darn good!

You might want to post this on the buck sub forum. However, I bought a custom 110 with the S30V blade a couple of years ago. It's fit and finish are fantastic. Plus the phenomenal heat treat on S30V makes for a very sharp and durable edge. Each one is individually made and the guys that put them together make them like their own. You will get dozens of pictures and comments on the buck sub forum.
