Buck Custom Shop Offering 110 Drop Point Option

dang! They not even charging extra for that drop point!

I hope it stays an option for a while. I won't have the money to order one until next year. (brass, with pins, oak scales)
 
I'm not sure how I feel about it. Part of me likes it a lot, and the other part thinks it looks weird because it doesn't look like a Buck 110.
 
I just ordered mine! Love that drop point. 4-6 weeks delivery time. A Christmas present to myself.
 
Got my Buck 110 from the custom shop today! Nickel silver bolsters and pins, black G-10 handles and of course the drop point. It's awesome! Well worth the wait and the money.
 
I have a Buck 501 from the custom shop. Definitely worth the price increase over their stock knives.

Hoping they do the drop point in S30V. The Paul Bos heat treat Buck uses on S30V is really excellent. A 110 in S30V is on my want list. I think a 110 drop point in S30V would go to the head of the line.

+1 on the S30V. I purchased a 110 from the custom shop last year for my grandsons graduation present with S30V, Elk handles finger groves and brass bolsters. This knife not only was beautiful but also came stupid sharp. He has used this knife for over a year including field dressing a few white tails and I sharpened it once for him this past summer and that has been the only time it has needed to be sharpened. If they begin offering a drop point in S30V I will definitely purchase one for myself. Right now Glennbads has one of mine in his capable hands to mod with stag.
