buck custom

I'm holding off on my first 110 until the custom shop is back open.... So here's another inquisitive guy wondering when it'll happen.
 
The question to ask is: When will we be able to order new buck 112 customs!?!?! :p
 
It seems that actual information from Buck is in very short supply in this particular forum.

I too would like to know when the custom shop will reopen, but apparently that's a top secret at Buck.

I'd hope so, considering the obvious interest on our part.
 
Patience, dont forget ,Buck is still trying to recover from the move. Maybe drop an email to Joe at Buck and tell him we're sinking in the sea of no information.
 
I was told at the end of summer when they will start taking orders again.

Sorry for the absense guys. I know there are a lot of knowledgeable posters here and maybe i sometimes use that as an excuse to not come here as often as I should. Naturally, my job in this forum is a high priority but we are still digging out of the backlog created by the move. I spend most of my days in the rework department these days, helping out.
I'm afraid I do not have the latest news on the Custom Shop and the person i need to ask is out of town. End of summer is the last one i heard although I don't know if that is still realistic or not. If folks would just stop buying our knives, things would slow down and we could start focusing on stuff like that. :rolleyes: ;)
Honestly, Richard R. is the guy that used to make those knives and he is so busy in Specials right now that may effect the opening of the shop.
 
I am in line with all these other gents. I'm also curious if S30V will ever be available from the custom shop? Thanks Mr. Houser. Few companies are as customer friendly as yours.
 
Right about the time that we had to shut the shop down for the move last year, we were looking to add S30V as an option. I don't know where we stand with that right now.

Yeah baby! S30V! And a black blade option too.....?? I'm thinking jigged buffalo horn, nickle bolsters, S30V, black blade...I can't sleep nights. I need counseling. Or more money.
