folks,
just wanted to share my recent experience dealing with Buck's customer service department.
i was at a big west coast knife show and passed the Buck table where i stopped to see the new products. while there i mentioned to the gentleman behind the table that i had a small cosmetic factory flaw on my Mayo 172. he asked to see it, immediately told me i was correct and asked if i would like a replacement for it.
only then did i notice his name tag: i was speaking to the man himself, Chuck Buck.
i told him that would be terrific. i gave him my Mayo and name/address. he said he would hand-pick a replacement himself and that i should have it in a week and a half.
just 6 days later i received the replacement and wow, is it beautiful. i couldn't have asked for more! i now carry my 172 with pride and joy.
bravo and kudos to Buck for its wonderful customer service and friendly manner. and many thanks to Chuck too. it was a pleasure to met and talk with him.
thnx for listening.
