Had an issue with the 172, and Buck resolved it quickly in a manner that surpassed my expectations. Probably old news, but I had to say it. :D
 
Interestingly enough, when I sent my 172 in last year for what Tom Mayo stated was excessive lock engagement in a new knife, they kept it three weeks and finally returned it to me with a letter saying that "It's a production knife," tolerances happen, and basically 'get over it.' So things can go both ways. I wasn't overwhelmed.
