Sent a 110 hunter in with a broken tip. Put a note in with the knife with my email address and phone number and stated to contact me about a method of payment, and I would give them a credit card number or debit number, however they needed the money, since the knife tip was broken and obviously had been used to pry something.
Well, I get the knife back looking like brand new, with a note about a complimentary reblade, PLUS a 25% discount card on a purchase from the Website store!
Why would anybody buy any other brand of Knife after that????

That even impressed my wife! She actually told me I NEED to get on the website and pick myself out a new knife!

Jec, Thanks for the story. This is NOT uncommon with Buck Knives. ONe of the last great American cutlery firms. DM

They are pretty amazing. I told of a story awhile ago where my Dad was "misusing" his 301 and broke the blade hitting it the way it shows on the emblem. He got it as a gift from his granddaughters. I was ready to get him a new one because it was his fault. I sent it into Buck, fully explaining the situation and they rebladed it without any problems. He was more then elated.

Glad to hear your happy with them.

I sent Buck a folder that was mutilated by an industrial washing machine,,I also thought I'd be paying something,,nope !! Brand new one in the mail two weeks later..My last six knife purchases have been Bucks...On a side note Springfield Armory customer service just impressed the hell out of me as well..

Awful hard to beat Buck for customer service.

S.A does have outstanding service too. I bought a new/used 1911 and it had a couple minor things that bugged me. So I sent it to them, and not only did they fix the small issues, it made a trip through the Custom shop for some tuning. All free of charge.
Humm. Maybe Buck and S.A are in cahoots :D

Buck, Kershaw, and Crimson Trace have all been good to me. I have seen all three stand behind their products on the CS end. I also keep buying more from them.;)
