After reading some previous posts here and also from Buck's great reputation for repairing and replacement I sent in a BuckTool that the tension liners/springs (? correct terminology) in the handles were busted giving it a lot of sloppy play on both sides.

That was well over 8 weeks ago and I'm wondering if there is any way to check on that item? When I sent it I left it in the case and attached a piece of paper with my name, address, phone, and email but haven't heard anything. I'm in no way complaining just simply inquiring if there is a way to check. I'm going to have this item done up in a combo sheath with a Maglite from Gary Graley for a birthday gift and am running out of time so would simply like to check to see what may have happened.

Thanks for any information!

Shawn

Dear Emanym, as soon as Joe Houser, C. J. Buck or one of the "Buckeroos" on this forum read this post they will check it out and let you know something. I have sent knives to several companies and they all were good but Buck is simply the best. They have went out of their way to make things right for me. I don't know what the delay is but I'm sure there is some reason. Just a word of encouragement from a Buck fan.

Thanks Russ... I figure it is something simple and just wanted to find out if anyone else could fill me in. I've always heard great things about Buck. Looks like I'll have to buy another and then keep one. Darn, another Buck, what's a guy to do?

Shawn,
It sounds like something went wrong somewhere. If you can email me your first and last name and your address i will look it up to see if we ever received your Buck tool. That is the first step.
Take care,
